Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein konnten Springreiter und ihre Pferde beim Springturnier im Leonberger Reitverein ihr Können unter Beweis stellen.
Am Samstag den 12. April veranstaltete der Leonberg Reitverein bei herrlichstem Frühlingswetter erstmals ein Late Entry Turnier, das sich ausschließlich den Springreitern widmete.
Zuletzt fanden beim Sommerturnier im Juni 2019 kleine Dressur- und Springprüfungen auf dem großen Sandplatz des Leonberger Reitvereins statt. Nach der Corona-Pandemie entwickelte sich das Sommerturnier ab 2022 aber zu einem reinen Dressurturnier und Springprüfungen gab es nur noch am großen Turnier im September auf dem Grasplatz.
Dass Sand immer beliebter wird bei Springreitern, zeigten die hohen Starterzahlen in allen 7 Prüfungen. Teilnehmer aus einem Umkreis von bis zu 70 km kamen mit ihren Pferden nach Leonberg um auf dem großen Sandplatz um den Siegertitel zu kämpfen. Dank des breiten Spektrums der angebotenen Prüfungen, die vom Springreiter-Wettbewerb bis hin zum L-Springen reichten und auch Springpferdeprüfungen speziell für junge Pferde mit ausgeschrieben wurden, war für alle Reiter und ihre Pferde etwas dabei.
Auch die Mitglieder des Leonberger Reitvereins hatten große Freude an diesem Springturnier und waren teilweise begeistert selbst mit am Start und vertraten den Verein bei den Siegerehrungen, wie Alexandra Spiess, Lenja Kierstein und Anika Krasselt. Daher wird der Verein mit Sicherheit auch nächstes Jahr wieder ein Springturnier in diesem Format veranstalten.
An dieser Stelle bedankt sich der Leonberger Reitverein auch nochmal ganz herzlich bei all seinen Sponsoren und Helfern, ohne die ein Turnier nicht möglich wäre.

Gestern hat die Prüfung zum Reitabzeichen stattgefunden. Nach einem erfolgreichen Prüfungstag konnten alle ihre erfolgreich abgelegten Prüfungen feiern. Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
